Kurt Rechenberg

Kurt has been involved in the construction industry for twenty five years. Forming Thermal Fox in May of 2010, he has spent more than a decade working in the cold storage industry where he has managed over 100 projects related to the food and beverage industry.

Prior to starting Thermal Fox LLC, Kurt worked as a project manager for Holt Cargo Systems in South Philadelphia, PA where he was first introduced to the cold storage industry. Responsibilities included hiring carpentry trade personal and project management for dry and cold storage warehouses‘ at various port locations. He worked for five years as a project manager with a reputable design-build company specializing in cold storage and processing facility construction. He worked for a construction firm creating a new division to compete in the industry. He successfully completed three major cold storage projects and several dry storage warehouses‘ acting as general contractor over the last three years he was employed. His responsibilities included meeting with owner/clients to evaluate expansion possibilities in new and existing buildings. He worked closely with necessary design teams to develop final design drawings for the permitting process. He frequently assisted clients with submission of construction documents to municipalities on state and local levels. He directed engineering on the majority of his projects.

Over the past decade Kurt has successfully traveled to various states assembling construction teams to execute ground up projects and renovations. Kurt attended Delaware Community College and has completed classes in the construction management program. He has managed projects valued between one and seven million dollars in contract value. Kurt is married with three children and has been married for 19 years. He currently resides in Kennett Square, PA where he has lived for nearly two decades.
